【里利氧化法】(Rileyoxidation)含活泼亚甲基的羰基化合物在水、1，4-二噁烷、乙醇、醋酸等溶剂中用`SeO_2`（或`H_2SeO_3`）在100℃左右进行氧化，则亚甲基转变成羰基的方法。由里利首创。某些含甲基侧链芳香族及杂环化合物也用本方法进行氧化。
