膨胀合金 expansion alloy 具有反常热膨胀特性或可控热膨胀特性的精密合金。又称热膨胀合金。一般的金属或合金受热膨胀时,其膨胀量随温度的升高呈线性增加。但有些合金的热膨胀曲线在某一温度出现弯曲点,在弯曲点以下的热膨胀系数比弯曲点以上的正常热膨胀系数低得多,这种现象称为反常热膨胀特性。膨胀合金按线膨胀系数的高低分为3类。①低膨胀合金。线膨胀系数低于3×10-6/℃ 。通常金属的线膨胀系数与熔点成反比,低膨胀合金在居里点以下磁致伸缩效应引起的胀缩,抵消了热胀冷缩效应,致使合金成为零膨胀或低膨胀。常用的低膨胀合金是因瓦(Invar)合金(FeNi36) ,其室温附近的平均线膨胀系数为0.877×10-6/℃ 。主要用于制造微波设备的谐振腔、标准尺、精密电容器、气体激光器、天文望远镜镜臂、地震仪等。②定膨胀合金。线膨胀系数为4×10-6~10×10-6/℃。多用于与陶瓷、玻璃、硅、云母等物体封接,故又称封接合金。③高膨胀合金。线膨胀系数高于16×10-6/℃,主要用作热双金属的主动层。实际应用中,膨胀合金仅指低膨胀合金和定膨胀合金。 |
