The asymmetric squaric amides 6a～6l,7a～7c and asymmetric isosquarylium amides 3a～3s were smoothly prepared by the reaction of mono carbamoyl amide of squaric acid (MCASQA, 1) with primary arylamines and (N aliphatic) n butyl nitroxosquarate 4 with urea or its derivatives under the moderate condition.

A solid phase extraction combiantion with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(SPE/GC-MS) was developed for the determination specific migration limitation of 24 primary aromatic amines(PAA) migrated from food contact plastic materials and articles.
