性质:生产硫酸的工艺。含二氧化硫炉气在转化器前层催化床内进行第一次转化,转化后气体进入中间吸收塔,转化生成的三氧化硫被吸收生成硫酸,出中间吸收塔的气体返回转化器,使余下的二氧化硫在后层催化床中再次进行转化,生成的三氧化硫在最终吸收塔内被吸收生成硫酸。按照第一、二次催化床层数的不同,可有(3+1)型四段转化、(2+2)型四段转化和(3+2)型五段转化等几种模式。该工艺的优点是:二氧化硫的转化率可达99.5%~99.8%,尾气不需处理即可达环保要求;硫利用率较高,可控制较高的进转化器二氧化硫浓度,故在同等产量时其处理气量较一转一吸装置为少。
