| 端足目 Amphipoda 软甲纲囊虾总目的一目。体多侧扁。头部与第1或前2胸节愈合，无头胸甲。腹部通常有6节，尾节明显，有时裂开。全世界已知6000多种。端足类复眼无柄。胸肢8对，单枝型。第1对为颚足。端足类的受精卵在雌体育卵囊内发育，幼体与母体相似。 端足类共分为4亚目：① 亚目，也称大眼亚目。复眼特大，为浮游性种，漂浮于近海或大洋上层或深层。②钩虾亚目。大部为浅海底栖种，少数为淡水产，常附着于水草或浅海海藻间。③英高虫亚目。种类很少，产于深海或浅海珊瑚间。④麦秆虫亚目。全部营附着生活或寄生生活。许多端足类是经济鱼类的天然饵料以及养殖对虾的活饵。但有些种大量繁殖时可危害养殖的海藻。食木跳虫大量成群可危害海上建筑木材。 |
