性质:又称光氧化剂(photo-oxidant)或总氧化剂(total oxidant)。大气中除氧外,具有氧化性质的全部污染物之总称。通常指能将碘化钾氧化为碘的物质,主要是大气中光化学反应的产物。如臭氧、二氧化氮、过氧乙酰硝酸酯(PAN)、过氧化氢和过氧自由基(如过氧烷基RO2)等。由于一般情况下,臭氧占光化学氧化剂总量的90%以上,故常以臭氧的浓度作为总氧化剂的含量。世界卫生组织及美国、日本和我国等许多国家都把光化学氧化剂浓度作为衡量大气环境质量的标准之一。
