Seven compounds named 3,4 dihydro 6,7 dimethoxyisocarbostyril(1),N methylcorydaline(2),6,7 dimethoxy 2 methy iso carbostyril(3),thalactamine(4),berberine(5),4 (4 methoxyphenyl) 3 buten 2 one(6),and noroxoyhydrastinine(7),were isolated and purified from Thalictrum delavayi Franch in Yunnan province and their chemical structures were elucidated by spectral evidence.
