用盐水选树种可提高树木种子的发芽率已在实践中证实。其方法是取50公斤清水加4公斤~5公斤清盐，搅动使其溶化，捞去浮在水面上的杂物，然后将树种到入盐水中（使水面高于种子即可），搅动后去除劣种，再把种子捞入清水中洗三四次，晾干后即可下种。这种方法可提高种子出芽率15%。应该注意，浸过种子的盐水不可乱倒。——摘录自《福建林业》99.11期
