Based on the origin and gushing features of the gas in the working face, this paper probes into the drainage of gas in neighboring beds of working face through strike high-bleeding roadway adopting which can realize continuous drainage with larger channel and higher drainage ratio and guarantee the gas in the working face not to exceed the limit.

The high level suction along roof strike, which has a widespread use in many mining areas,is a typical roof roadway.

Application of high dip tunnel for drawing out gas in fully mechanized roof-caving face in No.5 coal mine in Yangquan;

In the comprehensive treatment of coal face gas in Panyi Mine, high level suction roadway above the coal seam top and embeded suction pipe were used to draw out gas, which obtained good effect.

The research shows that through constructing downward drilling to extract in floor suction roadway by properly using various exiting resource and technique the gas controlling problem of no high level suction roadway caused by unpunctual drivage of mining face is settled,indicates that temporal benefit and economic benefit are obtained,gas comprehensive controlling.
