| 阿拉斯加大地震 Great Alaskan Earthquake of 1964 1964年3月28日3时36分（当地时间27日17时36分），发生在美国阿拉斯加南部海岸附近的一次巨大地震。震级为8.4级。这个地点也是处在板块边界上。阿留申海沟的板块消减带向东延伸就通过这里。地震造成的地表岩层破裂总长度达800千米，与阿留申海沟平行。附近的城市安科雷季离震中约100千米，地震发生后约15秒钟感到强烈的地面振动，并持续半分钟。较高层的建筑物受到的损失最大，而较矮小的框架结构房屋却安然无恙。这是因为远离震中的地方地震波的成分主要是长波，而高大建筑容易同长波发生共振导致破坏。 |
