In order to do spinning practice with alu-lined cot instead of the imported product on the roving frame with the suspended spindle,introduction is made to the specification,caution of grinding and telescoping of cot WRC-980,comparative analysis proves that the cot can be a substitue of the imported product with less consumption of material and better CV value.

Comparative analysis of the the application of the cot telescoped with the standing telescoping machine FP-2 and the horizental telescoping machine shows that the standing telescoping machine is superior in compact structure,easy operation,wide application and strong practicability,thus in conformity with varieties of requirement of the cots in assembling and disassembling operation.

Exploration is done to the relationship of cot structure,cot rigidity to evenness of the resultant yarn and yarn strength;relationship of cot rigidity to friction factor and linear width of nipper jaws;relationship of cot diameter and telescoping tolerance to quality of resultant yarn.

Sampling the common problems in spinning process,spinnning performance of the cot and apron should be in conformity with the draft philosophy and develops in direction of cotton spinning technique.
