This paper puts forward a think of final slag adjustment based on the fractional melting theory for the first time, which breaks conventional slag adjustment method of low content of FeO、 high content of MgO.

In order to obtain the accurate content of metallic aluminium,after eliminating the interferences from aluminium oxide by filtering and the effects from interfering ions by separating hexametylenetetramine and alkali,the determination of metallic aluminium in the slag-modifier by the EDTA titrimetry was put forward in terms of the content range of metallic aluminium in the slag-modifier.
