性质:由美国埃索公司开发的烃类热裂解制乙烯的管式裂解炉。早期采用水平式炉管结构,后改为立式炉。辐射炉管材质为HK-40或HP-40,早期多采用侧壁和顶部烧嘴,后来多采用底部烧嘴供热。埃索立式炉是最早以减压柴油为原料的管式裂解炉。裂解减压柴油时,炉管结焦严重,运转周期仅7~20天。为延长运转周期,埃索公司发展了不停炉清焦技术,将裂解炉中已结焦严重的一组或几组炉管停止投油,用含硫低于1ml/m3的饱和烃和稀释蒸汽通入,进行特殊在线化学清焦,使整台裂解炉运转周期延长至6个月左右。运行中每台裂解炉约有5%~10%的炉管处于清焦操作状态
