| 塔轮 step pulley 具有多种直径的带轮，改变转速用的传动件。通常两个塔轮配套使用。动力和运动由主动轴输入，通过带和塔轮装置由从动轴输出。当带所处的主动轮和从动轮直径相等时，实现等速传动。改变带的位置，当带处于主动轮直径小于从动轮直径位置时，实现减速传动；处于主动轮直径大于从动轮直径位置时，实现增速传动。塔轮传动可用于需要有级变速而功率较小的地方。由于塔轮传动装置尺寸较大，虽然结构简单，在机械传动中已很少采用。
