    生铁,铁碳合金。一般把含碳量在2~4.3%的铁碳合金叫做生铁。在高炉冶炼过程中,常将铁矿石和焦炭中的硫、磷、硅等带入生铁内。因而使生铁有脆性。生铁产量的90%用于炼钢,10%用于铸造。
