| 鞘细菌 sheathed bacteria 一群连结成链状的、在链外包围着管状鞘的水生杆状细菌。鞘是细菌在生长过程中分泌的一种蛋白质-类脂-多糖的复合物，透明或半透明。有的种类在鞘上积累氢氧化铁或（和）氧化锰沉积物。细菌可从鞘内脱出到水中以鞭毛游动并繁殖成新的丝状体。鞘细菌常见于活性污泥及流水中，与污水处理池中的污泥膨胀有关。 |
