The effects of high hydrogen containing poymethylsiloxane amount, quantity ratio of soft and hard acrylate monomer, cross linking amount on the properties of the copolymer emulsion as cotton fabric coating were discussed.

A self crosslinking textile coating agent was synthesized by means of seeded emulsion copolymerization, for which butyl acrylate(BA), ethyl acrylate(EA), hydrogen containing polymethylsiloxane(PHMS), methyl methacrylate(MMA) and acrylonitrile(AN) were selected as main monomers, and acrylic acid(AA) as functional monomer, N hydroxymethylacrylamide(NMA) as cross linking agent.

In this paper, the relationship between the wrap single-rip tearing strength and the yarn tensile properties as well as fabric structure is studied by multi-variable linear regression for the eighteen kinds of PU coated fabrics with different specifications.
