【多硫化物】(polysulfide)含有多硫离子`S_x^(2-)`（x=2,3,4,5或6）的化合物。碱金属（包括铵）的硫化物中溶入硫黄，即得我硫化物`Na_2S_x(NH_4)_2S_x`等，为黄至黄绿色的粉末。多硫化钠和多硫化铵可用作化学分析试剂。多硫化钠在工业上用以制造聚硫查胶和硫化染料。石灰悬浮液中加硫黄后煮沸，得红色溶液，含有多硫化钙`CaS_4`和`CaS_5`，可用作杀虫剂。
