性质:又称电熔镁铬质耐火制品。以电熔法制成的镁铬质耐火材料。其矿物组成主要有方镁石和尖晶石。主要化学成分是氧化镁为50%~60%,氧化铬为15~20%,氧化铝为10%~15%。氧化铁为10%~15%。体积密度为3.3~3.4g/cm3,显气孔率为5%~15%,常温强度和高温强度比普通镁铬砖高得多,并具有耐磨性高和抗渣性强等优点。但抗震性能较差。以镁砂、铬矿和高铝矾土(或工业氧化铝)为原料,经粉碎、配料制成素坯,置于电弧炉中高温熔化,熔融液注入模中,经慢冷退火而制成。主要用于炼铜闪速炉、炼钢电炉的过热部位和炉顶、转炉易损部位、真空处理炉内衬等。
