| 雌黄 orpiment 一种砷的硫化物（As2S3）矿物。含砷61.9％，用于制取砷、砷化物（As2O3）和制作颜料。单斜晶系，晶体呈柱状或片状，集合体成梳状、块状及粉末状。板状解理极完全。灼烧后发出强列的蒜臭味。柠檬黄色、条痕淡黄色。油脂光泽、解理面珍珠光泽。莫氏硬度1.5～2，比重3.49。是典型的低温热液矿物（成因同雄黄），常与雄黄、辉锑矿共生。中国湖南慈利、云南南华等地为主要产地。
