风成沙 wind-drift sand 经风力搬运、堆积的沙粒。主要特点是 :①粒度均一、分选好 。最大粒径 <1毫米,<0.06毫米的颗粒极少,分选系数在1.1~1.4范围内。②磨圆度高,沙粒磨圆度指数一般为39.99,而非风成沙为29.31 。③石英砂颗粒的表面有碟形坑、溶蚀迹和SiO2淀积物。④矿物组成以石英为主,少量长石与各种重矿物,很少有不稳定矿物存在。
