性质:指含有硒氧化物(—SeO—)的高分子氧化剂。硒氧化物试剂是一种能够将烯烃氧化成邻二羟基化合物,将芳香环外甲基氧化成醛的选择性氧化剂。虽然有机硒化合物是常用的氧化试剂,但是小分子有机硒有毒,并具有恶臭,对工业化使用不利。高分子化的硒试剂可以消除上述缺点。高分子硒试剂的制备通常以聚对氯苯乙烯为原料,与硒酚钠反应生成二苯硒醚型高分子硒试剂。
