In consideration of the problems existed in a vacuum crude oil stabilizing unit in Zhongyuan Oilfield, the crude oil stabilizing unit is modified, a gas stripping process is introduced in crude oil stabilizing system to reduce fractional pressure of light hydrocarbon, increase the interface of oil and gas separation and improve its stabilizing effect.

This subject base on the actuality and problem of oil stabilization installation of Zhongyuan Oil Field,to develop technique application and research of gas stripping process,in order to lower running cost of installation and increase recoverable ratio of light hydrocarbon.

Based on the process design and actual operation of the Snamprogetti ammonia stripping process,this paper analyzes and evaluates in detail the operation flexibility of the process,showing that the operation of Snamprogretti is simple and flexible,and discusses some problems existing in the operation.
