剪切带 shear zone 发育在岩石圈中具剪切应变的强烈变形带。这一变形带可以是应变不连续的面状构造( 断层),或者在露头尺度上见不到几何不连续性而呈连续应变的韧性剪切带。小者仅见于岩石薄片中,大者可延伸上千千米。按照剪切应变发生时的岩石的力学行为不同和应变速率的差异,剪切带可以分为3种类型:①脆性剪切带。即断层。一般在不高的温度、 压力和高应变速率的条件下形成,碎裂岩系列代表地壳7~10千米以上脆性剪切带的产物。②韧性剪切带。产在较深部位的剪切应变带,其伴生的长英质糜棱岩的形成深度通常不小于15千米 。③脆-韧性剪切带。宏观上在一韧性剪切变形带内,但可见到把剪切带岩石错开或带内出现羽状拉张裂隙。其形成环境和深度介于前二者之间。 |
