There are three main methods available in plastics flotation,namely (a) carrying out flotation utilizing a liquid medium with a specific value of surface tension-Gamma Flotation;(b) selective wetting of the plastics surface by means of a plasma treatment-Physical Conditioning Flotation and (c) selective wetting by adsorption of wetting agents(surfactants)-Chemical Conditioning Flotation.
