性质:固体表面的某些离子或离子基团与溶液中的离子进行交换,使后者吸附,前者脱附,称为离子交换吸附。不溶于水和许多溶剂的具有高效交换能力的固体称为离子交换剂。根据交换离子的性质离子交换剂可分为阳离子和阴离子型两类。阳离子交换剂的典型活性基团有羧基、羟基、磺酸基等;阴离子交换剂的典型活性基团有氨基、亚氨基等。离子交换吸附在物质的提纯、净化、分离等方面有广泛应用。另尚有脱色和吸附细菌等作用。脱色作用实际上是利用树脂固定离子电荷的吸附性能。
