| 锡林郭勒草原自然保护区 位于中国内蒙古自治区锡林浩特东南约70千米。北纬43°26′～44°39′，东经115°32′～117°12′。国际人与生物圈的自然生态系统定位研究站之一。1985年建立的中国第一个草原自然保护区。面积1.08亿公顷。主要保护草原生态环境。保护区处于温带森林草原向荒漠草原的过渡地带，加以地形、土壤等自然条件的影响，植被类型比较复杂，有疏林、灌丛、草甸、沼泽，有片状云杉林、白桦、山杨林等。但主体为温带典型干草原。大针茅草原，克氏针茅草原为代表性草原植被，此外有山地草甸草原、羊草草原和线叶菊草原等。高等植物有625种，分属于74科291属。野生动物也反映了蒙古区系统的特色，有黄羊、狼、各种啮齿类动物，以及鹰、百灵鸟等鸟禽。保护区设有中国科学院草原生态系统定位站，进行草原生态系统结构、功能与提高生产力基本途径的研究。 |
