The feedwater quality was examined and the corrosion mechanism of the boiler tube under present condition was probed into.

A boiler pipe was analysed by means of macro-morphology, chemical composition, measurement of wall thickness and diameter, optical microscope, X-rays, mechanical properties, scanning electron microscope(SEM) and EDS in this paper.
