性质:由高压倍加器产生的氘束轰击氚靶,通过3H(2H,n)α反应产生的14MeV中子照射样品的活化分析方法。其依据的活化反应主要为(n,2n)、(n,p)、(n,α)等,其中以(n,2n)反应最为有利,这与核内的相对中子过剩有关。是热中子活化分析的一个重要补充,例如热中子活化分析难以测定的氧可借助16O(n,p)16N反应加以分析。
