It analyzed the geological environment,the roof and floor of the coal bed firstly,then made a plan for strata control observation,did an actual measure and analysis of the fully mechanized support working resistance,the single hydraulic prop yield load and the roadway wall rock distortion,resulted the law of the ground behaviour.

According to the site obseration the regtilarity of ground behaviour at the ends of working face is analysed by the rock plate theory,and the characteristics and the supporting system at the ends of working face are discussed in the paper.
