| 装甲侦察车 armoured reconnaissance vehicle 装有侦察设备的装甲战斗车辆。主要用于实施战术侦察。分履带式和轮式2种。现代装甲侦察车装有多种侦察仪器和设备。装甲侦察车的外廓尺寸小、重量轻、速度快。战斗全重6～16吨，个别的达19.5吨，乘员3～5人。车上通常装有20～30毫米机关炮和7.62毫米机枪，有些车装有76～105毫米火炮或14.5毫米机枪。
