弱电解质在一定条件下电离达到平衡时对一元弱酸或弱碱,溶液中电离所生成的各种离子浓度的乘积,跟溶液中未电离分子的浓度的比值是一个常数,这个常数叫电离平衡常数,简称电离常数。
弱电解质ab在水溶液中达到电离平衡时:
ab==可逆==a+ + b-
则,k(电离)=[a+]·[b-]/[ab]
式中[a+]、[b-]、[ab]分别表示a+、b-和ab在电离平衡时的物质的量浓度。
电离平衡常数的大小反映弱电解质的电离程度,不同温度时有不同的电离常数。但电离平衡常数不受浓度的影响。
