| 地壳 earth,s crust 地球分层结构的最外层。大陆地壳的厚度一般为35～45千米；海洋地壳较薄，只有几千米。地壳与地幔的分界面称为莫霍界面，它是一个速度不连续面。地震纵波速度从地壳底部到地幔顶部有一个突然的跃变。大陆地壳一般分为两层：上层较硬 ，易发生脆性破裂 ，通称为花岗岩层，下层较软，易发生塑性变形，通称为玄武岩层。由于地表岩石的风化作用和固结成岩作用，在花岗岩层之上还有一层薄薄的沉积岩层。海洋地壳则只有玄武岩层。大陆地壳和上地幔顶部又合称岩石圈。 见地球内部构造。 |
