具有传动联系的传动件组构成传动链,其实际运动对其理论运动的接近程度,是机构精确度的一个分支。为了使机器完成规定的运动,必须有一系列的传动件如齿轮、蜗杆和螺纹,把执行件与动力机、或执行件与执行件连接起来,形成传动联系。不同功能的机器对传动联系的性能要求不同,如齿轮加工机床和伺服控制装置中的一些传动链,执行件与执行件之间的相对运动必须保持严格固定的传动联系。但传动链中各传动件难免存在制造误差和安装误差,从而形成传动链的传动误差,使传动失真,运动忽快忽慢。研究传动链中传动误差产生的原因和影响,对保证传动链的功能要求有重要意义。由于传动链中各传动误差及其对末端影响的因素复杂,故至今尚难建立精确的计算式。在实际工作中常采用测试的方法,如用电磁分度、光栅或地震仪式(也称惯性式)等传动误差测试仪进行测试,经数据处理后得出测试结果,从而进一步找出产生传动误差的根源,随之采取消除或限制这些误差的措施来提高传动链精确度。
