| 古海岸线 relic coastline 过去的海陆交界线，大多指第四纪时期残留的海岸线。由于受地壳和海面升降运动的影响，古海岸线处于陆地的不同高度或海底的不同深度。确定古海岸线的主要依据是由海岸动力塑造的海岸侵蚀地貌和海岸堆积地貌及其相应的沉积物。标志有海岸阶地、海蚀洞、海蚀崖、古海滩、古滩脊、古海滨沼泽和海滨生物遗骸及其活动痕迹等。通过追索海陆相地层或沉积物的分布，也可间接确定古海岸线的位置。古海岸线的年代可用生物地层学、同位素年代学和考古学等方法加以确定。 |
