A four-ball machine was used to evaluate the extreme pressure and antiwear (EP&AW) properties of molybdenum dialkyldithiophosphate (MoDDP) in 150N paraffinic base oil and two formulated oils, SJ15W/40 and SH15W/40, and its antiwear synergistic effect with zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (ZnDDP) was investigated.
