刨花板边缘和定点加固 现代家具工艺技术之一。这一技术的主要原理是：用专门的设备向刨花板边缘受力部位注入合成树脂，以增强其机械强度。强度是刨花板的重要指标，它是靠加大压力增加其密度来达到的，而密度的增加会使容重增加。容重增加就会使刨花板容易产生翘曲变形。因此，采用边缘和定点加固技术，刨花板的容重就可以由目前的0.7g每立方厘米降低到0.4g每立方厘米。这样，既使边缘和受力部位得到加固，而又降低密度，减小翘曲变形的程度，并趋于稳定。另外，容重降低后，还可节约大量的木材和胶料，从而降低了刨花板的生产成本。经过加固处理的刨花板，可用于家具制造时的打孔、装圆棒榫、固定铰链和五金接件、封边，直接榫槽结合等。
