A series of 4-arylmethylidene-3-methyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-5-one derivatives were synthe-sized by the condensation reactions of aromatic aldehydes with 3-methyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-5-one via room temperature grinding or heating under solvent-free conditions without any catalyst.
