OBJECTIVE To develop oral mucosal ointment of organic silicon oxide and evaluate its matrix.

Materials and methods : Between February 2000 and May 2006, 116 patients underwent auto-tissue substitution urethroplasty at our hospital; 82 had a single-stage onlay buccal mucosa urethroplasty and 34 had a single-stage pedicle penile skin flaps urethroplasty.

Methods The clinical manifestations,histomorphology featru-res,immunohistochemistry,treatment and prognosis were analyzed in three cases of extramedullary myeloid sarcoma of the mouth mucosa with review of the literatures.

The effect of buccal mucosa in different regions on penetration and absorption of drugs,various and quality evaluation methods of buccal mucosa drug delivery system are introduced.
