樟脑 camphor 一种萜。分子式C10H16O。又称2-莰酮。自然界存在的樟脑有右旋体、左旋体和消旋体。右旋樟脑存在于香樟中,左旋樟脑存在于艾纳香中,消旋樟脑存在于Chrysanthemum sin-ense var japanica中。樟脑为无色透明片状晶体,有特殊香味,易升华。右旋体熔点179.8℃,204℃升华,相对密度0.990(25/4℃),比旋光度+44.26°(乙醇);溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮和苯。左旋体熔点178.6℃,204℃升华,密度0.9853克/厘米3(18℃),-44.2°(乙醇,C=16.5);溶于乙醇、乙醚和丙酮。消旋体熔点178.8℃,溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮和苯。樟脑为一种酮,可还原成二级醇和生成肟。用高锰酸钾氧化生成樟脑酸。工业上消旋樟脑是由蒎烯通过重排反应制备。樟脑可用于制备电木、无烟火药、药物、化妆品和防蛀剂等。
