性质:又称七叶灵,七叶苷,马栗树皮苷。为七叶树内酯-6-O-葡萄糖苷,其倍半水合物为针状结晶(热水),熔点204~206℃,旋光度-78.4 (c=2.5,50%二氧六环),可溶于热乙醇、甲醇、吡啶、乙酸、乙酸乙酯,难溶于冷水,其水溶液显蓝色荧光(PH>5.8)。来源于七叶树科植物欧洲七叶树(Aesculus hippocastanum linn)的树皮,木犀科植物苦枥白蜡树(Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance)的树皮等。动物实验显示具有抗炎、镇痛、利尿、抗菌及抑制醛还原酶作用,还具有维生素P样活性及皮肤保护作用。
