With the aim of improving the quality of spring steel 60Si2Mn(A), the different deoxidation technique test was carried out, the results of the oxygen content below 15×10-6 and Al2O3 content less than 40 % in oxide inclusions were achieved by predeoxidating with aluminium, final deoxidation and inclusion modification with barium alloy.
