The sky-earth background radiations of visible light band and infrared band under different conditions are calculated by using atmospheric transmission model Modtran soft.

Meanwhile,the study on the relationship between thermal infrared band and other ones is also conducted.

Land surface temperature in the main urban area of Chongqing was retrieved from thermal infrared band data and the resulting data were combined with those in field investigation of typical sample plots to be used in analysis of the correlation between the sum of basal area in the green belts and the land surface temperature(LST).

According to characteristic of dual-band infrared sensors and continuity of target tracks, and by analyzing the main elements of track correlation and their interrelation, it is presented in the paper two definitions of holistic similarity based on the idea of sequential detection and coarse extract fuzzy track correlation method.

This thesis researches information fusion methods according to characters of dual-band infrared sensors.
