| 磨床 grinding machine 用磨料、磨具(如砂轮、砂带、油石、研磨料等)对工件表面进行磨削加工的机床。磨床能加工硬度较高的材料如淬硬钢、硬质合金等，也能加工脆性材料如玻璃、花岗石等。磨床还能进行高精度和高效率的磨削。 1830年前后，英国、德国和美国制造出使用天然磨料砂轮的磨床，这些磨床是在现成机床(如车床、刨床等)上加装磨头改制而成。1876年巴黎博览会展出的美国布朗-夏普公司制造的万能外圆磨床，首次具有现代磨床的特征，1883年该公司又制成磨头装在立柱上，工作台作往复移动的平面磨床。此后，各种不同的磨床相继问世。随着微电子技术和其他现代技术的发展，磨床的加工效率、自动化程度以及加工精度等得到了不断提高。
磨床是各类金属切削机床中品种最多的一类。其主要类型有：①外圆磨床。能加工各种圆柱形或圆锥形的外表面、阶梯轴轴肩及小平面等；万能型还带有内圆磨削附件，适用于中小批单件生产和修配工作。②内圆磨床。主要用于磨削圆柱、圆锥形内孔表面。③平面磨床。用砂轮的周边或端面磨削工件的平面。④工具磨床。用于磨削工具及刃磨新制或用钝的刀具，有万能工具磨床、滚刀刃磨床、工具曲线磨床(又叫成型磨床)等。⑤无心磨床。通常指无心外圆磨床，工件位于砂轮与导轮之间，由托板支承进行磨削。⑥砂带磨床。以快速运动的砂带为磨具，工件由输送带支承，多用于加工大批量生产的平面零件、大尺寸板材、耐热难加工材料等。⑦专门化磨床。专门用来磨削某一类零件如曲轴、凸轮轴、导轨、叶片、螺纹和齿轮等的磨床。另外，还有珩磨机，抛光机、研磨机、坐标磨床和钢坯磨床等。 |
