性质: 大气中气态物质之间发生的均相反应。人为排放的各种气体污染物,如二氧化硫、氮氧化物、氯化氢、氟化氢、氨等,进入大气环境后,在一定条件下(如在相对湿度或温度较高,或在阳光照射下)会彼此之间或与大气中的其他痕量气体,如一氧化碳、臭氧、氢氧自由基、过氧化氢自由基等,发生化学反应,即气相反应。例如一氧化碳与氢氧自由基发生氧化反应,生成二氧化碳和原子氢(CO+HO·→CO2+H·),原子氢又与氧反应生成过氧化自由基(H·+O2+M→HO2·+M,M为大气中任何其他分子),它是大气中活性很大的强氧化剂,很易与其他物质发生氧化反应。
