性质：又称德士古煤气化炉(Texaco type coal gasifier)。以水煤浆为原料进行气化的工业炉。气化炉为直立圆筒，内衬耐火砖。原料煤破碎至粒度小于l0mm后送人球磨机。煤粉与水、添加剂、助熔剂(视煤的灰熔点高低决定是否加助熔剂)在球磨机中磨制成含固量60％～70％的水煤浆，用泵送人气化炉烧嘴，与送人的氧气在烧嘴出口混合雾化进入温度为1500℃左右、压力为2～6MPa的气化炉进行气化反应。产生的煤气经下降管进入激冷室，被水激冷后，经文丘里洗涤管及煤气洗涤塔除尘，并被水蒸气饱和。该煤气经CO变换工序。出气化炉的高温煤气可以不用水激冷，改用废热锅炉回收热量(废锅流程)，产生高压蒸汽。该法制得的煤气大致组成：CO45.2％，CO218.5％，H235.1％，CH40.1％。
