Based on marketing and marketing strategy theory review, this study analyzed the internal and external environment of Baiyun Airport, clarified the key problems during the marketing process, evaluated the marketing factors by SWOT matrix, and finally proposed the marketing strategy according to the evaluation results.

Comparing with several recently built airport in China, this article summarized some main characters ot the design of passenger terminal building of Haikou Meilan international airport so as to explore some general ideas for airport design such as one-turn design and by-stages construction and so on.
