骑图》轴中国明代中期画家周臣的山水画代表作
周臣(15世纪下叶～16世纪上叶 )字舜卿,号东村,吴(江苏苏州)人，活动于明弘治、正德年间,约卒于嘉靖中,享年80余。此图绢本，淡设色。纵 185.1厘米，横64厘米。所绘春山客店和骑行旅，属于唐宋以来的传统题材。画家融合北宋李成、郭熙和南宋李唐、刘松年诸家之长，在布局、造境、笔墨、意趣等方面，能自出新意，别具一格。画面以全景式的布局作高远之景，悬崖
岩配以春山绿水，使山川雄中寓秀，繁密中见清旷，其景致有别于两宋山水画，为简繁的有机融合。笔墨技法方面，既吸取了北宋山水的精严细微之处。注重山石、人树、桥屋等形体结构的准确刻画,又承继了南宋院体的劲健先练之长,用小斧劈皴呈现山石的纹理和明暗，浓淡墨色烘染山川物象的前后和阴阳，将谨细与简明、劲利与清秀融为一体，从而形成自身特色本幅署款“东村周臣”,钤“东村” 1印。现藏故宫博物院。单国强
