朝阳谷位于吴山爱晚亭和“两仙对奕”之间。谷长约一公里，一条块石路沿谷而上；谷中树木繁茂，十分幽静。沿谷有朝天峰、卧龙峰、群仙洞、天聪洞、二仙峰、削玉峰、神迹岩、龙隐岩等景观。谷口岩上有黄光篆书“朝阳谷”和周唱游记。爱晚亭造型简洁、出檐深远，颇具古朴本色，背山面溪，可眺望蒲溪筏影，群峰景色。
