| 扎染 tiedyeing 在织物上运用扎结成绺（或缝纫）浸染技艺印染成花纹的工艺。通常也指印染成的印染工艺品。古称绞缬。扎染在中国约有1500年的历史。现存最早的实物是东晋年代的绞缬印花绢。唐代扎染发展到鼎盛时期，贵族穿绞缬的服饰成为时尚。北宋时期因扎染制作复杂，耗费大量人工，朝廷曾一度明令禁止，从而导致扎染工艺衰落，以至消失。但西南边陲的少数民族仍保留这一古老的技艺。除中国外，印度、日本、柬埔寨、泰国、印度尼西亚、马来西亚等国也有扎染手工艺。20世纪70年代，扎染成为流行的手工艺，广泛应用于服装、领带、壁挂等。扎染工艺是先用线在织物上扎结成绺（称线勒扎结），或在织物上缝纫（称线缝扎结），用以防染；然后入染缸浸染；浸染后抽去所扎或缝的线，在织物表面形成由深至浅的晕染花纹 。在同一织物上运用多次扎结、多次染色的工艺，可使传统的扎染工艺由单色发展为多种色彩的效果。 |
